Mamie Foote Ketter, Christian, Wife, mother of 4, grandmother of 10. Mamie was born in Greenville, MS where at an early age her life’s journey took her to live in San Diego, California. She now resides in Las Vegas, Nevada with her husband Al, and her parrot AJ. She is a retired nurse. Her parents are the late Mrs. Carrie Mae Foote and Harvey Foote Jr.

In addition to being the author of the AJ The African Grey Book series, Mamie is also an accomplished musician, songwriter, composer, and singer.
